Package: acpi Version: 0.09-1 This might not be directly related to the acpi package but to one of the ACPI utility packages.
The system suspends to ram just fine. But when I open the lid or press the power button to wake the system, it goes back to Xorg for a second but immediatelly kills it and halts the system like when you execute shutdown -h (it is not a crash, the system is shutting down normally). I am on a Toshiba Satellite 5200-701 using Debian GNU/Linux etch with kernel 2.6.17-2-686 and libc6 2.3.6.ds1-8, acpid and related packages are all up to the newest version of etch. Below you find what I think is the relevant part of syslog. Thanks Magnus Dec 3 11:39:29 pc1900 kernel: apm: BIOS not found. Dec 3 11:39:41 pc1900 kernel: apm: BIOS not found.
