I asked on the Linux-utf-8 mailing list if anyone knew of a way to print mathml. I got the following answer from Behdad Esfahbod:
"If you use the latest Firefox 1.5 with Pango text rendering enabled (unset MOZ_DISABLE_PANGO) AND my Firefox+Pango printing patch from here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=357733 You can view and print MathML in Linux." This patch apparently also cures the problem that Mozilla & Co. have with printing Indic scripts. How about applying this patch to the Debian version?
