Upstream bug 1544349 has affected DVD playback since the move to libxine 1.1.2 (audio lags video by a small amount - on all of my AMD systems I have to press "m" 8 or 9 times to sync audio with video on any DVD. I have tried just about every combination of audio settings I can to try and fix it, including the recommended change of setting a/v sync from metronome to sample. Regardless of the audio driver, sample rate, specifying 44100 or 48000 sample, sample on, off, auto - I have to hit "m" 8 or 9 times to sync audio.
