Hi, got this 'failed to execute /init' message on boot -----
altering /initrd.img to point to /boot/initrd.img-2.6.18-18-1-amd64.bak FAILS renaming /boot/initrd.img-2.6.18-18-1-amd64 to /boot/initrd.img-2.6.18-18-1-amd64.pj then renaming /boot/initrd.img-2.6.18-18-1-amd64.bak to /boot/initrd.img-2.6.18-18-1-amd64 ALSO FAILS sent this via a knoppix live distro so I cant ( as far as I know ) downgrade/upgrade the package. Any advice on getting my system back up without starting from scratch would be appreciated..... Thanks ...
