About the NMU's, I already did some, no problem.

The "only" problem to raise is th elicense issues for the various
proposed fonts.

The new Rachana Open Type font (Rachana_w01.otf) seems to work well
with G-I. However, its license was....not clear. The font itself has no
embedded info about the font being GPL and whichever other license.

However, I finally found the answer:

http://plus.sarovar.org/contents/fonts/Rachana_w01-LICENSE.txt

So, I will go for it and:

Include the new Rachana_w01.otf in ttf-malayalam-fonts in place of the
older one....and use it in the udeb.

I work on it right now.

PS: all this work should go in the SVN of pkg-fonts, the Debian Fonts
Task Force SVN, probably...
