This is a followup for bug:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=295058

please at least tell me if you think i am wrong and disagree with
the way things are done in the hurd (i also learned that newest
version of the hurd have recreated a real /usr to deal with such
issue, this seems sad to me as this was done out of luck and was
not even talked about on debian-devel).

I am primarly a user/contributor to Debian/linux but am
interested in hurd changes from the unix conventions.

I really feel that this symlink should have been talked about in
debian-devel even without hurd. Package using the old path for
"which" may not even be aware of the change. Is the symlink
supposed to stay forever ?

This is a post sarge issue for the least, i fully understand it.
But "which" is far from an anonymous component of debian. Such
issue are like abi breakages ....

Regards
Alban
