I am working on 2.1.8 packaging on my new dev build machine as time has finally started to become available for such tasks. I will be uploading to Sid/unstable as soon as I have them ready but I am not expecting them to land within Etch release, and therefore expect them to sit in Sid until Etch+1.

I'll take a look at it... As soon as I have time to get everything on my network set back up I'll be getting packages current. Unless there's major bugs in the current version in testing/etch I don't expect it until after it's released.
