severity 394418 important retitle 394418 Runtime bug on ARM/netwinder (causes FTBFS) thanks
Mono 1.2.2.1 is in unstable and testing. This fixes this FileNotFoundException seen in some builds logs of applications/libraries that used Mono and Mono itself too. The netwinder specific issue is not solved, we had already 2 builds of Mono 1.2.2.1 on arm/netwinder which failed in 2 different ways, the first build just hang and didn't continue in the compiler call [0], the other one just bailed out (no idea why, make problem?) [1]. I am downgrading this bug to important, because it's not effecting the release of the software. Upstream could not find the cause of the problem yet (not sure if he got access a netwinder box actually), and mono is mostly targeting GUI applications and web-service, and both are not really the thing a netwinder would run. I use Mono on my Zaurus (which has an Intel XScale processor) and have no problems, neither upstream who targets Mono for the Nokia 770. I am also retitling this bugreport so users of that architecture will see right way if they are effected by this or not.
