The reason why I reactivated the charset patch for etch was because
users wanted to use slrn in an utf8 environment.

Btw, the first upload of slrn to experimental with that charset patch
enabled was nearly a year ago, in Februar 2006.

I *do* care about our users, that's why I actived the charset patch
for etch, a lot users asked me to do so (take a look into the german
newsgroup de.comm.software.newsreaders if you don't believe me).

Stop blaming me for things you don't know the background!
