Package: bloat Version: 1.5 Status: Severity: wishlist Hi,
I'm considering packaging bloat, but after a test run, I got following notices. You could use only standard programs: bzip2 -d (instead of bunzip2) gzip -d (instead of gunzip) arj x (instead of unarj) zoo x (instead of unzoo) The checks below would then be "bzip2 not found" etc. unrar is fine, because rar is not free under Linux, but unrar is. The utility could also support extracting multitude of other formats (forgize if some are already supported; I didn't check): *.7z *.ace *.cpio *.gpg *.lzma *.lzop *.pax *.pgp *.rz (rzip) *.tar.* *.zip Thanks, Jari ./bloat --check bunzip2: (stdin) is not a bzip2 file. sh: /usr/bin/bunzip2: not found BLOAT: *WARNING* - bunzip2 could not be found.
