Package: octave2.1-forge Version: 2006.03.17+dfsg1-3 Severity: normal When calling legend on a gnuplot diagram, legend.m times out. Increasing the number at line 186 of legend.m from 20 to 100 makes it work for me, but I imagine that on other (slower?) systems, this won't be sufficient and there's a more general problem.
I found a mailing list message about a similar race condition with the test that the file has been written directly below, but nothing about this.
