The synopsis of dget is:
$ dget --help
Usage: dget [options] URL
dget [options] package[=version]
Downloads Debian packages, either from the specified URL (first form),
or using the mirror configured in /etc/apt/sources.list (second form).
However this does not accept file:// URLs as defined in
http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1738.txt (See 3.10 FILES). An example:

dget -x file:///tmp/foo-1.1.dsc
