Package: mpgtx Version: 1.3.1-2 Severity: important mpgtx -s seems to consistently segfault when the input file is more than about 12 megabytes in size.
mpgtx creates the (empty) output file (asking for permission to overwrite it if it already exists), then crashes before any data is written. I have been unable to generate any other data (core dumps, bug.report) from the crashes. I have some *long* videos that I would like to split up. :-( -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-2-k7 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages mpgtx depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-10 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.1.1-21 GCC support library ii libstdc++6 4.1.1-21 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 mpgtx recommends no packages. -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
