Package: installation-guide Version: 20070122 Severity: minor Hi!
Section 1.2 _What is GNU/Linux?_[1] states, in part: | Development of what later became GNU/Linux began in 1984, when the | _Free Software Foundation_ began development of a free Unix-like | operating system called GNU. | | The GNU Project has developed a comprehensive set of free software | tools for use with Unix(TM) and Unix-like operating systems such | as Linux. where the underlined _Free Software Foundation_ is a link pointing to http://www.gnu.org/ I think it would be better if such link pointed to http://www.fsf.org/ instead. The "GNU Project" in the next paragraph could be turned into a link pointing to http://www.gnu.org/ at the same time... Later on, the same section states: | | See Linux International's _Linux History Page_ | where the underlined _Linux History Page_ is a link pointing to http://www.li.org/linuxhistory.php Well, maybe it's me, but I could not find anything related to Linux history on that website... Wrong URL? Changed website that used to host useful information, but no longer does? I don't know, but I think that the link should be fixed (or otherwise dropped).
