Gnumeric's stable branch (1.6.x) does not support MS Excel 2007 Office Open
XML. This support is being added in the development branch (1.7.x) for which
packages are available from project/experimental.
Should you run into issues with the support that's in the development
branch, please report them through bugzilla.gnome.org directly; there are no
Debian-specific changes to this code.
