I disagree.  Most of my servers have dual ethernet chips.   I know which
MAC is connected because tftp/dhcp already have that information.  What
makes matters more difficult is that half the time the "Port 1" and
"Port 2" labels on the chassis refer to eth0 and eth1, the other half
it's eth1 and eth0 (i.e. reversed).  It's always the same guesswork
which is unnecessary and time consuming.

Which means going out all the way to the main screen, selecing execute a
shell, and then running ifconfig -a.  When you install using serial
console this is an annoying task that takes far longer than it should to
get this information.

Please reconsider.
