Package: alsaplayer-common
Version: 0.99.76-9
Severity: minor

When playing a WAV file, "alsaplayer -q" or "alsaplayer --quiet" prints
the same lines as without the option "-q" or "--quiet", for example:

----- begin ---------
$ wget -q http://cougar.eb.com/soundc11/a/affida01.wav
$ alsaplayer -q affida01.wav
short_mask = 0x5
short_mask = 0x5

...done playing
$
----- end ---------

When playing MP3 files, "alsaplayer -q" still prints one empty line to
stdout.
