Cheers. ----- Forwarded message from Daniel Foote <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ----- Date: Sun, 25 Feb 2007 17:59:27 +0800 From: Daniel Foote <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Stefano Zacchiroli <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: Bug#404648: gpscorrelate: dumps core on gpx file from Garmin eTrex via gpsbabel Hello. The bug has been fixed. A new version (1.5) is now on my website. I don't know what has to be done from here to pass this information up. The bug was caused by poor input handling in my code. The GPX file that was attached had a track segment in it without timestamps - such as would occur when the track had been saved into more permanent memory - the GPS then strips out the (rather useful) timestamp information. gpscorrelate now ignores track points without timestamp data. The original bug poster should be made aware that only tracks with timestamps are really useful - the file he sent had some tracks with timestamp data (ie, tracks from the working memory on the GPS). To ensure the useful timestamps are kept, they will have to ensure that the download is done directly from the GPSs working memory. Any other problems - let me know. Anyway, apologies for the delay.
