I'm experiencing a serious issue with dovecot rc15. When using dovecot as mail delivery agent with ldap account and auth_bind=yes, dovecot gets broken and all deliveries are deferred. After a chat with the main dovecot developer on IRC, he told me theses bug has been fixed in rc18, however it's too late to get rc18 into etch. It's time to speed up and include the upstream fix for this bug into etch package ! Current version won't work.
