Package: icedove
Version: 1.5.0.9.dfsg1-1
Severity: important

Icedove on Etch fails to use matching entries from the configured LDAP server when the user types a string in the To: field of the Compose window. The fact that Icedove finds the matching entries when the same string is entered in the Contacts pane in the "Search For:" box. The box for "Cirectory Server" is checked in the "Address Autocompletion" section of the Adressing panel in the Composition section of Icedove Preferences, with the correct LDAP server selected.

This works correctly in Thunderbird (for which I understand Icedove is the Debian counterpart) on other platforms.

To reproduce:

1. Configure an LDAP connection
2. Create a new message
3. Move the focus to the To: field
4. Enter a substring for one of the entries in the LDAP database
5. Observe that no matches are displayed
