Package: network-manager
Version: 0.6.4-6
Severity: normal
network-manager (gnome) doesn't connect to my home network using a mode
called WPA (TKIP+AES) in the config of the wireless DSL/router "box"
from Free (Freebox HD).
This is, from what I understand a mix mode between WPA TKIP and WPA2 AES
which permits the use of devices speaking WPA or WPA2 at the same
time...
When using /etc/network/interfaces and wpa_supplicant, it connects
perfectly (with config like this :
iface eth2fbx inet dhcp
wireless-mode managed
wireless-essid olivierberger
wpa-ssid olivierberger
wpa-passphrase AbCdEfG
wpa-ap-scan 1
wpa-driver wext
my card is an ipw2200)
With network-manager, neither auto-detection or manual configuration in
nm-applet seem to allow me to use it...
I have to wait for a long time, and finally nothing...
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
