Can't reproduce it in that case. I also tried resetting the tabs preferences to defaults. browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInBackground and browser.tabs.autoHide didn't make a difference in behavior. Every time I reset browser.tabs.showSingleWindowModePrefs to false, it would seem to "not stick". Next time I start iceweasel it's back to true. Finally, any idea what these two are about? They are set to non-defaults: browser.preferences.advanced.selectedTabIndex (set to 0) browser.preferences.privacy.selectedTabIndex (set to 4) Please let me know if there's anything else I could try to help debug this.
