I have raised the severity of this bug to serious as the removal of gnomemeeting from the archive (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=413280) leaves powerpc users without any working alternative to ekiga (or so it seems: I am still waiting for other reports of ekiga working on powerpc, or confirmation of the bug I am experiencing).
