Hi Daniel, in the proposed manpage.xml.ex you attached, the default encoding is iso-8859-1. IMO UTF-8 would be more appropriate nowadays. It also seems, as if the xslproc option "-nonet" should be "--nonet" and maybe a tool like "xmlto man" could be mentioned.
