There's some inconsistencies between the 'quick guide' provided by the
README.Debian using the perl method: if you follow the guide, you got a
non-working environment, because the commands proposed does not setup
the store path.
The trouble seems came from a bug in scripts, referenced here upstream:

I don't know if it is possible to correct this in etch...
