Yes, of course. Otherwise I wouldn't have had the change between English, German and Japanese. > And could you test it with another new user? I did and it was exactly the same. I also tried setting other locale variables to [EMAIL PROTECTED] It seems that only LC_CTYPE changes the interface to German. Not even setting LC_MESSAGES gives me a german interface.
