This means that I add a debian directory, where the instructions are to build Debian packages. Because ntop and Debian do not have the same release plan I prefer to have them separated. After that I run dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot And after a while I have a working (hopefully) package. In this case I assume that I will backport it to 3.2 version of ntop and test on that version.
