Package: icmake
Version: 7.10-1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Francesco,

A new icmake upstream release is available at

    ftp://ftp.icce.rug.nl/pub/frank/debian/icmake

This release (7.10) differs from the previous release (7.02) in the following
respect:

Applied size_t where applicable, using unsigned otherwise to prevent
problematic behavior on some 64 bit architectures.

    Removed Superfluous #defines from icm.h

#define values may extend over multiple lines, using the \ character as
the last character on the line to indicate line-continuation.

Changed many old-style classic C parameter lists into ANSI C style
    parameter lists

Minor textual repairs to the manual pages.

Added the option to compile with extensive compiler flags in the top-level
    build script.

MSDOS is no longer suported by specific MS-DOS code.

The current release builds lintian and linda clean on i386.

I would appreaciate it if you could check out the new release and if
acceptable could have it installed in the Debian archives. Since several other
packages in the testing and unstable distributions depend on icmake and
eagerly await the advent of icmake version 7.00 or above, I wonder if this
version could be installed in the unstable and/or testing distributions,
rather than in the experimental distribution.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

Frank B. Brokken.
