What I've noticed is that whilst Evolution can now show inbox subfolders, if those subfolders have spaces in their names, great weirdness ensues. I had a subfolder called "Internal IT".. I went to rename it.. Evolution created a new folder called "Internal%20IT".. I want to drag some files out of my inbox, into a subfolder.. If that subfolder has a space in the name, generally I'll get a message saying the folder could not be found.. No space in the name? No problems..
