Package: zaptel-source Version: 1.0.4-3 Severity: wishlist Hi, is there any chance of having patches to support UK CallerID on the X101P cards included in the Debian packages?
Upstream refuses to include them because it would 'bloat the code'[1] These patches[2] enable the low-cost single-port X101P to receive CallerID in the UK. Support is already present for Digium's more expensive TDM400P, but the X101P does not support polarity reversal and necessitates these patches. I've been in contact with the author (kevin AT cursor d0t biz) whose work is licensed under the GPL and he sees no reason why they should not support both cidstart = polarity (for TDM400P) and cidstart = history (for X101P) Cheers, Gavin.
