Followup-For: Bug #382293 Package: bootcd Version: 3.01
I am getting an error when booting similar to what was reported before. In Etch, I have prepared a directory using debootstrap (also using Etch), chroot into it and installed a Kernel image (kernel-image-2.6-686 [2.6.18+6]), then exited the chroot and ran bootcdwrite using the chroot as the SRCDISK. Doing so results in the following error at boot: /init: /init: 151: Syntax error: 0xauto Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init! I can also reproduce this problem in version 3.00.
