Hi, I am the author of GNUjump.
First I must say that the problem in changing the game resolution is not a bug: the screen resolution is taken from the theme file and changing it in the config file or by commandline parameters will not make any effect. The next version will not include any information about the -w or -h parameters in the help screen. This bug is quite strange and I could not reproduce it. I have just committed a pair of changes to the CVS, could you please try it? The instructions can be found here: http://www.gnu.org/software/gnujump/down.html If the problem persists, could you please post your xorg.conf file? Also could you tell us which nvidia card do you own, which driver version are you using, etc. I have an Nvidia card and I may try to reproduce the bug using the same settings.
