Package: inn2 Version: 2.4.2-3 Severity: normal
I use mailpost for inserting postings in multiple (internal) newsgroups. After upgrading to this version of inn2 they failed with messages like: ----- Transcript of session follows ----- ndbm store returned -1, errno 13, key "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" at /usr/lib/news/bin/mailpost line 370, <STDIN> line 67. 554 5.3.0 unknown mailer error 13 I probably caused this myself by putting inn2 on hold for on Debian woody and only upgrading it again on the upgrade to sarge. I fixed this by removing the messageid databases kept by mailpost in /var/tmp/mailpost-msgid.{dir,pag} Maybe a cleanup of these files on upgrades or some other approach. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.32 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages inn2 depends on: ii cron 3.0pl1-86 management of regular background p ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.30.13 Debian configuration management sy ii inn2-inews 2.4.2-3 NNTP client news injector, from In ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22sarge6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libdb4.3 4.3.27-2 Berkeley v4.3 Database Libraries [ ii libperl5.8 5.8.4-8sarge5 Shared Perl library ii perl 5.8.4-8sarge5 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii perl-base [perlapi-5. 5.8.4-8sarge5 The Pathologically Eclectic Rubbis ii procps 1:3.2.1-2 The /proc file system utilities ii sendmail-bin [mail-tr 8.13.4-3sarge3 powerful, efficient, and scalable ii time 1.7-21 The GNU time program for measuring -- debconf information: inn2/postinst-cannot-start: inn2/preinst-upgrade-largefiles: false * inn2/preinst-upgrade1: true -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
