I thought an installation with a serial console might circumvent the problem, as serial consoles don't use keymaps. However, after reboot the system hangs even before it shows the first menu. No difference if I choose a 2.6 kernel from the beginning or install the default first and upgrade to 2.6 later. So, currently, netbooting seems indeed to be the only way to get a 2.6 sparc kernel. regards Herbert -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
