Package: root-tail Version: 1.2-2 Followup-For: Bug #409813 I've recently run into this bug when I switched encoding from latin1 to utf8 (with latin1 all was well).
I tried fiddling with program options and found that setting a font with the -fn option makes the problem disappear.
