[cc'ing the ITP bug in debian, it seems that quite some ppl are subscribed there]
Hi Jérôme, As you surely have noticed, I intend to maintain boxbackup in debian as an official package. I mainly took your packages as base, and fixed the remaining lintian warnings. Nice work on the debconf'isation! I have uploaded test packages at http://siretart.tauware.de/upload-queue for public reviewing and/or testing. I would very appreciate it if you could have a look at it and tell me if something important is missing. According to Chris Wilson, there have been a "few known bugs" in 0.10. It would be great if someone could cherry-pick the changes from the svn trunk, I'll glady incorporate them into my tree. I'm maintaining the packages in bzr. You can browse the source package at [1]. In order to get the history of my source package, use the following command to get a copy of my branch: apt-get install bzr bzrtools bzr get http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~siretart/boxbackup/boxbackup.debian I intend to upload my packages this week (maybe wednesday) to debian unstable, unless someone raises objections. Please note that it might take some additional weeks until it gets reviewed by the debian ftp-masters and eventually enters unstable. Happy hacking!
