It has been decided for a long time that Lenny won't support 2.4 kernels. Even support for 2.4 kernels in Etch is partial. Anyway libc 2.5 don't support that without a lot of patches. If you want to stick to kernel 2.4 you probably want to stick to old software, so please stick to Etch and do not upgrade !!! -- .''`.
