I can't reproduce this, both -i and -v do not show the behaviour you
mention. Perhaps it's something related to your editor or terminal?

I cannot reproduce it *now* neither.
But many htings have been updated since I reported the bug.

I tried to revert perl/libc6 et other dependancies but it is a bit to invasive on my system to get the same packages version.

Please give some additional info on how to reproduce this behaviour.

Each time I was using dch, I wat getting an extra line with the last characters of the normale text duplicated.
