I've looked at both of these, and they are the same relatively minor bugs (I think). The appearance of the window is rare, from what I've heard (I've never seen it), and is caused by multiple threads modifying the environment simultaneously. This is probably more common if your download is very fast, or you're downloading lots of torrents, but it could certainly appear at other times (pretty randomly). Generating an error may not be the best way to handle this situation, so I've asked the upstream about alternatives. I guess what I'm saying is, don't worry about it, it's not serious, and if it annoys you too much then let me know and I'll take additional steps.
