Package: gdesklets-data
Version: 0.32
Severity: critical

/usr/share/gdesklets/Displays/diskio/diskio.display makes XFree start
allocating RAM until (on my 512MiB RAM ~700MiB swap machine) it crashes
the machine.

xrestop output before:

0e00000 17 72 1 140 17 12536K 3K 12539K ? gDesklets

5 seconds after starting it:

0e00000 19 72 1 1228 24 121170K 3K 121174K ? gDesklets

10 seconds later:

0e00000 29 78 1 1643 60 155564K 4K 155569K ? gDesklets

The bad thing is XFree doesn't free up memory even after stopping
gDesklets:

6405 root 15 0 247m 196m 5396 R 0.0 39.0 29:04.35 XFree86

The odd time after I close it, XFree starts eating CPU too. Even though
I'm not sure it's related, I'm mentioning it on the offchance it is. :-)

6405 root 16 0 246m 195m 3936 S 26.9 38.7 30:05.46 XFree86

I've tagged the bug critical because if you have gdesklets set up to
start at boot (well, at login) and you add that, it can crash your
machine each time you boot.
