Watch out for the Maintainer field in the 'control*' files in that diff I attached in my previous message: For my local copy I had set the maintainer to me but had (intended to) reset it back to the official Debian maintainer when submitting that patch, but with three different control files in the source package it looks like I missed the one named 'debian.binary/control.template'.
