But this bug affects a lot of people who use a national keyboard layout with a U.S. English keyboard layout. I believe that this bug is important as it causes a major malfunction. Is there no way to get this into stable? I am using the stable distribution and I naturally ran into this problem. I can and I have patched my /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/us file but I would rather have this bug fixed in the stable distribution.
