Package: zaptel-modules-2.6.18
Version: 1:1.2.11.dfsg-1+2.6.18-10.00.Custom
Severity: important

I have a freshly installed Etch system, on which I have compiled my own 2.6.18
kernel and then installed
it using "make-kpkg kernel-image" and then "dpkg -i linux-image-XXX" (using
Debian sources).

After installing my kernel, I have tried to install zaptel-modules-2.6.18. I
have downloaded the package and
executed "module-assistant a-i zaptel". It seems that the zaptel modules
package was built correctly, but when
module-assistant tries to install it using dpkg, it fails as this:

dpkg: error processing
zaptel-modules-2.6.18_1.2.11.dfsg-1+2.6.18-10.00.Custom_amd64.deb (--install):
trying to overwrite `/lib/modules/2.6.18/modules.ccwmap', which is also in
package linux-image-2.6.18

I have found that all of these files are present (and different) in both my
locally-generated kernel image
package and the zaptel modules binary package:

/lib/modules/2.6.18/modules.ccwmap
/lib/modules/2.6.18/modules.dep
/lib/modules/2.6.18/modules.ofmap
/lib/modules/2.6.18/modules.alias
/lib/modules/2.6.18/modules.ieee1394map
/lib/modules/2.6.18/modules.symbols
/lib/modules/2.6.18/modules.isapnpmap
/lib/modules/2.6.18/modules.usbmap
/lib/modules/2.6.18/modules.inputmap
/lib/modules/2.6.18/modules.seriomap
/lib/modules/2.6.18/modules.pcimap

This makes the automatic installation fail, and I need to copy manually module
files out of the deb package and
into the proper directory, not overwriting the mentioned files, obviously.
