The issue is upstream no doubt. One needs special handling in dldbfd.c for hppa, alpha, and ia64 as is currently provided (successfully) for mips.
Package of new upstream release is ready at the end of the week. I think it is fixed in 1.1 (but not having looked at it so far), if not, can you provide a patch? Please also note that lush is not already fully ported to ia64, therefore this very arch is not supported atm.
