Ok, so please would try if you have the same problem with version
0.103.0-1? You can install it by putting this entry

deb http://snapshot.debian.net/archive pool jack-audio-connection-kit

in your sources.list and then running

apt-get install jackd=0.103.0-1 libjack0=0.103.0-1

Or if you prefer, just grab the files directly:

http://snapshot.debian.net/archive/2007/05/03/debian/pool/main/j/jack-audio-connection-kit/

It might be that the latest 0.103.0-2 doesn't work with your CPU, as
it has dynsimd enabled

which the upstream recommends, but that maybe it's not fit for every CPU.
