problem with lilo and i believe it's a bug. I usually create a small boot partition (~100MB) and when I try to install lilo in the MBR it fails. I got it working in this way: switch to a console and unmount the boot partition (umount /target/boot); switch to the installation console and try to install lilo as the MBR for the second time; it fails again; switch to a console and mount back the boot partition (mount /dev/path_to_the_boot_partition /target/boot). Switching back to the installation console and installing lilo as the MBR now works fine. If you need other details please let me now, i would like to help you to fix this bug. -- Marco Gatti -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
