It does not work if the DVD name has spaces in it? I have a DVD monted on: "/media/Données perso, 30 avr 2007" /dev/hda on /media/Données perso, 30 avr 2007 type iso9660 (ro,noexec,nosuid,nodev,uid=1000,gid=1000,iocharset=utf8) and pommed fails to eject it with the error: KEY: CD eject /dev/dvd (/dev/hda) mounted on /media/Données\040perso,\04030\040avr\0402007; attempting to unmount umount: /media/Données\040perso,\04030\040avr\0402007: not found I: umount failed E: Could not unmount device Maybe you have to convert the \040 to ' ' Also GNOME does not close the main CD window as it is the case if I select eject from the GNOME contextual menu or even with the eject(1) command. I think you can reuse some code from eject to do that. Bye -- Dr. Ludovic Rousseau [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Normaliser Unix c'est comme pasteuriser le camembert, L.R. --
