Package: sysvinit Version: 2.86.ds1-38 Severity: normal Bootlogd suddenly stopped working but the daemon starts with no error message. The /var/log/boot file is empty. I'm running udev and bootlogd was working fine up until 5/02/07. I have another machine running the same kernel and sysvinit version as this one and bootlogd works on that machine. I tried specifying kernel boot parm 'console=tty1' per the man page but still '/var/log/boot' is empty.
