Yes it did install correctly, but it didn't remove gaim, which it IMHO
should, as pidgin is a "newer gaim". IMHO the correct behavior should
be:
- if $USER has gaim installed, force him to install pidgin
- same if user tries to install gaim and not pidgin
- if he has gaim installed and wants to install pidgin, remove gaim
(like it was done with firefox->iceweasel e.g.)
