tags 425324 + confirmed thanks I've reproduced it, and I'm digging into the build system to see why it's doing what it's trying to do. The build system wants to run some groff commands on the manpages before installing them, for reasons that aren't entirely clear. It amounts to a no-op, so I'll try to remove the processing rather than add a dependency. I expect to have an upload soon.
